Monday, June 21, 2004 Saw Chris Tomlin last night... I was extremely tired from a fun filled, exciting weekend, so I wasn't sure I was ready for a concert on Sunday night. I got there right when it was scheduled to start, 8pm, but found everyone else (Eugene, Sumin, Jeannie, Jenna, Albert, Nancy, Serena, Steve, Alice, Connie, Ro, Irene, Balem) waiting to be let in. Some of us ended up sitting to the side of the stage where we got a good profile view of the band, while a few others got to sit up in the bleechers on the steps. What a great time of worship. Chris stressed the "I am not famous" idea, giving the glory to the only real famous one. He also mentioned how it was great to be in the northeast where most from the south think that this area is spiritually dead. It was a great time. The LFCC praise team members that were in attendence all tried to record bits of one of Chirs' newest songs. We just need to find the full lyrics now. everyone remembers the chorus...
